Who is it for?

If you’re a man experiencing bullying or domestic or family violence, you need to know: you are not alone. Husbands, partners, sons, fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, nephews, friends, neighbours and colleagues from all walks of life and all ages can be affected.

You may feel powerless, worthless, depressed, lonely and isolated. Sometimes guilt, shame and despair are present. You may have problems with sleep or concentrate on tasks at work.

Remember that no one deserves violence. Domestic and family violence is against the law and is a crime. It’s not your fault and you’re not to blame for what is happening.

Join our support group!

Join our group therapy to start your recovery. We provide a safe and confidential space for you to talk about your experiences. More information about group therapy here.

What is Domestic Abuse?

Any incident or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or are family members, regardless of gender or sexuality.

Forms of abuse

Abuse includes physical violence, verbal abuse, threatening behaviour, verbal threats, emotional/psychological abuse, financial abuse, sexual abuse, isolation and false allegations.
